- 4 oz Dates
- 1/2 cup Boiling Water
- 1/2 tsp Baking soda
Pour boiling water over dates / bs / salt . Let sit for 30 minutes then mush - 2 oz Butter - 1/2 cup dark brown sugar - 1/8i cup sugar - 1/4 tsp orange zest Cream - 1 egg - 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract Add slowly - 3/4 + 2 tbsp Flour - 1/2 tsp salt - 3/4 tsp Baking powder Sift . Alternate flour and dates into the batter Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 325 F As soon as theycome out, dunk in warm Butterscotch BUTTERSCOTCH - 3 lb Dark Brown Sugar - 1/2 lb Butter - 4 oz Caorn Syrup - 2 cups Heavy cream Cook up to 240 F - 1 quart heavy cream - 1 tsp Vanilla extract Boil and add to the sugar mixture |
