                       Almond Cookies       - 4 ounce butter softened       - ½ cup sugar 
             
         - 1` tsp. Almond essence       - 1 ½ cup flour sifted       - almonds blanched 
             
         - 1 yolk       - 1 tbs. Water      Mix butter and sugar.     Add
         essence. Mix in flour well then form by 1 tbs. into 2 inch rounds.     Brush with egg water mix and top with an almond half.     Bake
         at 150 for 30 minutes     |
